Since 1999, we at maiz have made it a point to publish Cupiditas once a year. It is an informational sheet for sex workers in Upper Austria with migration backgrounds. Our focus is to include the perspectives of sex workers in the development process and in the implementation of the magazine. This year, Pauli has dedicated herself to the magazine and included her perspectives and experiences in the sex work industry.

My name is Pauli and I worked on this issue. The years 2020/21 were really shitty for most of us sex workers. I even switched to farming during Corona to have something to do and to keep paying my rent.
A lot has changed since then. In many brothels, the clients have either not returned or visited less frequently. However, rent still must be paid.
This issue contains information about Corona and sex work and information from sex workers to their clients about safer sex, but the focus lays on texts and stories from colleagues about their work and their relationships with non-sex workers.

Daniela Moore is a Spanish full-service sex worker with 9 years of experience in the sex industry. She is based in Berlin and before in London and Ireland, she has toured in the Middle East and Asia. She started in the sex industry working in a night time agency in London, once she gained some experience and understood the business she started to work independently. She is an intersectional Feminist and holds a BSc Business Management.
